Veracity was founded in 2005 by video surveillance industry veterans, with the aim of removing the market barriers to the adoption of high resolution IP cameras, through innovations in network connectivity, high capacity video storage and video display processing. This gave rise to our product ranges in Transmission, Storage and Display.
We are an integrated team of highly experienced, highly-motivated, security industry professionals who have built an extraordinary business servicing the security industry, primarily in video surveillance.

Designed for Surveillance
​
COLDSTORE storage arrays are designed specifically for video, exploiting the real-time sequential nature of video streams, storing sequentially for maximum efficiency, lowest cost and high reliability.

Sequential Recording
​
All COLDSTOREs work in the same way, using our unique Sequential Filing System (SFS) and Linear Array of Idle Disks (LAID), with a mirrored overlapping pair writing pattern for recording security.

Linux OS
​
All COLDSTORE systems use a tailored, highly secure Linux Operating System, stored on solid-state disks. This reduces costs and, being a tailored system, requires infrequent updates.

Embedded NVR Options
​
Our COLDSTORE storage arrays can record using Veracity's own embedded COLDSTREAM NVR, our embedded Nx Witness NVR partner system, or may be used with supported third party VMS solutions.

Extreme Distance
​
LONGSPAN delivers unrestricted 100Base-TX with 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt POE at distances for beyond the normal Ethernet limits for problem-free IP camera installation on any site.

POE To The Max
​
The Max versions of LONGSPAN are 802.3bt compatible and can output 90W of POE, delivering 51W at 250m on Cat6 cable. All versions can deliver 15W at 800m, sufficient to power most static IP cameras.

Easier Than Fibre
​
Fibre is often used for data connections at extreme distances, but LONGSPAN is easier to install and also delivers POE power to the IP cameras, saving ono cost, complexity and installation time.

Smart Diagnostics
​
All LONGSPAN POE models incorporate Veracity's SAFEVIEW smart diagnostics LED display with confirmation of link status, power availability and cable faults, from either end of the cable.

CAMSWITCH Flexible POE power

CAMSWITCH network switches are designed for applications in vehicles, trains, or battery-powered/solar installations, producing POE from 12V DC or being powered by POE. This enables significant flexibility in the installation of POE-powered IP devices.

Flexible Power
​
Depending on the model CAMSWITCH, may be powered by POE (90W compatible) or by a low-voltage source in a vehicle such as 12 or 24V DC, yet will still deliver full POE on four or eight ports.

Designed For Vehicles
​
The Mobile variants are designed specifically for use in vehicles or railway carriages, accepting 8.5V-40V DC power input and with uplink port(s) for connection to a mobile NVR or external comms.

POE Power Budget
​
CAMSWITCH delivers a POE power budget of up to 80W across all four or eight ports, depending on the model. The flexible low-voltage input may be also used for solar or battery-powered applications.

Ruggedised Format
​
CAMSWITCH units have a ruggedised design, a wide operating temperature range and snap-on mounting brackets for simple and secure wall or surface fastening.
